Supporting solo mothers with short-term childcare, education assistance, and essential resources — so families can move from survival to stability.
About Us
Moms Assisting Moms Association (M.A.M.A.) is a grassroots nonprofit dedicated to supporting solo mothers who are working toward stability for themselves and their families. We understand that many moms are doing everything right — working, going to school, and caring for their children — yet still face short-term barriers that can derail progress.
M.A.M.A. was founded by a solo mother who recognized how limited access to childcare, education support, and basic household resources can prevent families from moving forward. Our organization was created to help remove those barriers through practical, short-term support.
We provide assistance with short-term childcare needs, educational advancement (GED and high school completion), essential care packages, and resource navigation and referrals. All support is provided based on eligibility, available funding, and current program capacity.
At M.A.M.A., our mission is simple: no mom should have to carry the weight of motherhood alone. By offering timely support and connecting mothers to resources, we help families move from survival to stability.
